Terms of Service
YogEx is a tool for independent yoga teachers and small studios to run classes, students and fees. These are draft terms for using it.
What YogEx is
A dashboard and a public page for a teacher's business, plus simple tools for attendance, fee tracking and certificates. It is new: features are still being built, and things may change.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the accuracy of what you enter about your business and your clients.
Acceptable use
Use YogEx only for a real teaching or coaching business, and only enter client data you are allowed to hold. Do not use it to send unwanted messages or to store anything unlawful.
Payments
YogEx never holds or routes student money. When a student pays, they pay the teacher directly over UPI; YogEx only shows the teacher's UPI details and records what the teacher tells it about the payment. YogEx is not a party to that payment.
Your content
A teacher's business data, and any certificate they issue, belongs to them. YogEx only stores and displays it on their behalf.
Data we use
Pincode and locality data comes from India Post, published on data.gov.in (All India Pincode Directory) under the Government Open Data License – India (GODL-India). City and town data comes from GeoNames (geonames.org) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0).
Ending your account
You may stop using YogEx and ask us to erase your data at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law.
No warranty, limited liability
YogEx is provided as-is, with no guarantee it will be free of faults. To the extent the law allows, YogEx is not liable for losses arising from its use, including a payment made directly between a teacher and a student.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India.

We may update this draft as the product and its legal review progress. The version note at the top of this page tells you which draft you are reading.
